Term of Service: Six Years
Stated Meetings: Semi-Annual (March, November)
Purpose: It is the purpose of the William H. Dunlap Trustees to administer the assets of the corporation in such a manner as to maximize the care, support, maintenance, and education of fatherless, or helpless, or needy children, with a special emphasis on those who are orphaned.
Personal Commitment and Abilities: Each Trustee must be a person of demonstrated Christian commitment, active in a local church, serving under the Lordship of Jesus, the Christ. Each Trustee must (a) be willing and able to prepare for, regularly attend, and actively participate in board and committee meetings; (b) possess decision-making ability with an open and objective mind; (c) be capable of working with others to fulfill the purpose of Dunlap; (d) be willing to investigate needs and opportunities for child care in their presbytery and community; (e) have a compassion and empathy for those children who need our help.
While each Christian is called to be a servant-whether in the work of farmer, merchant, physician, school teacher, minister-there needs to be among the Trustees some who have knowledge and/or training in social services, child care, and related areas of service.
Appointed members must be Associate Reformed Presbyterian at the time of appointment.
